The Valley GI Advantage
With seven locations throughout the Ohio Valley we are never far away. This ensures that you can schedule an appointment at your convenience within close proximity to where you live.
Continuity of Care
No one wishes to be admitted to the hospital but sometimes a medical condition is serious enough to warrant a hospital stay. Because we provide both inpatient and outpatient services at virtually all hospitals in the Ohio valley, you can be sure that we'll be there to see you no matter which hospital you go to for your care.
We pride ourselves in bringing you advanced medical treatment through physicians and nurses that continually improve their medical knowledge and skills. Historically, Valley GI has been the region's leader in bringing the most modern and effective treatments to the Ohio Valley. Our group is on the forefront of the latest technologies such as ablation of Barrett's, capsule endoscopy, acid reflux monitoring test, painless hemmorhoidal therapies, non invasive H Pylori testing, non surgical treatment for pancreatitis and bowel obstruction, and latest treatments for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.
Comfort and Safety in Endoscopic Procedures
At the Valley Endoscopy Center we use the latest, most effective medications and a certified nurse anesthetist with over 30 years of experience and special training in endoscopic sedation. Add to this our physicians with extensive experience and training in performing safe and comfortable procedures and the result is endoscopic procedures that are so comfortable and pain free that we provide you with our Comfortable Colonoscopy Assurance™.
Nationally Recognized and Accredited
Our Valley Endoscopy Center is accredited by the Association of Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid and certified by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and is the only facility in the region to have received dual AAAHC and ASGE accreditation. Valley Endoscopy Center is only one of two centers to have acheived ASGE certification in the state of West Virginia and the only one in the region. Accreditation is awarded to facilities that provide the highest standard of care to their patients as determined by an independent authority through a rigorous evaluation and inspection process.
Specialized Senior Care
Senior citizens come with their own unique set of needs and challenges. Seniors' medical conditions and diseases can be very different from those of middle-aged adults, and because of this our seniors deserve to have specialized geriatric care. Valley Gastroenterology is uniquely qualified to provide care for seniors because our medical knowledge includes sub-specialty training and board certification in geriatric medicine. This provides us with unique insight into the care of our seniors.
Using our powerful computerized charting system, all of your medical information including office visits, procedure reports, tests and labwork is quickly and easily accessed by our physicians and providers at all of our locations. This ensures that no matter where you see us, we have your complete medical file on hand at all times and can provide you with the most up-to-date information.
